Meadow Creek Farms is not a hobby for me. There are no government grants or off-farm income to subsidize what I do. For 15 years, I have been learning and growing (literally and figuratively) and have beautiful, fertile soil built up with zero synthetic fertilizer.

My broiler birds, laying hens and hogs are not given soy-based feed to gain weight unnaturally fast. My birds are fed , wheat, peas, barley and oats and are truly raised outside, They are not barn birds. I process my broiler birds July-Oct and then sell through the year. My meat needs to be cooked slow due to the exercise my birds receive. My birds are on the move. You will notice a difference in the quality and taste. My meat does not shrink. I do not sell live birds.

My laying hens are outside whenever possible and the in spacious indoor environments which they can be natural and free.

My hogs are outside year round. Straw bale house in winter, the healthiest way to raise a hog!

My fields are hand-planting and hand-weeding comes from fairly-paid local labourers, not built-in communal workers. I don't push buttons in a big barn to feed and water, I pack pails, I am not perfect, but I try every day to treat animals and humans with an abundance of respect.

Relationships matter to me. My team makes a commitment to grow, and our customer families make a commitment to take a once a month delivery, including meat boxes, Northern Alberta Eggs, and seasonal Northern Alberta Garlic and produce.

There are not many of us left doing what I do, but because of your support -- our Meadow Creek Farms village of customers -- I have amazing products for your family's food system and food security this year. How to Order
Skip the store. We deliver to you.
Once a month we conveniently deliver your Northern Alberta farm-raised meat box and egg orders to your door in Edmonton and Fort McMurray.

STEP 1
Browse our products and order online. There is no minimum order. We will work with you on your budget and freezer space. Lots of our customers order with friends! Remember to include your full contact information, including delivery address and mobile number for texting.

STEP 2
Payment can be sent manually by e-Transfer or at checkout with credit card, debit, or PayPal. An $8 delivery fee applies to all orders to help us retain our professional drivers and offer exceptional service. We understand times are tough, and if you would like to arrange incremental payments, please talk with Mandy!
STEP 3
